A 35-year-old father of four, Andrew Knight, has tragically died following a drowning incident at Lake Anna in Virginia, leaving his family and community devastated.
Knight’s death occurred after a kayaking accident on Tuesday evening when his kayak capsized shortly before 8 p.m. Witnesses say he attempted to help keep the kayak afloat and was trying to push it back toward shore when he went underwater and never resurfaced.
A nearby Good Samaritan was able to rescue one of his children, but Knight was unable to be saved despite immediate emergency response efforts. He was later confirmed deceased.
Andrew Knight leaves behind three young children and a fiancée, Lacey Tustin, who is currently pregnant with their fourth child. His sudden passing has left a deep void in the lives of his family, who describe him as a devoted partner and loving father.
