The communities of Bunclody, Wexford, and Clonee, Dublin are mourning the unexpected but peaceful passing of David Loftus, who died at home on April 6, 2026.
David was the beloved son of Helen and the late Brendan, and a cherished brother to Karen, Jennifer, Becky, and Garry. He was also a loving uncle to Emma, Rachel, Jack, Harry, Edward, Teddy, and Max, and will be deeply missed by his extended family, friends, and neighbors.
Those who knew David remember him as a valued member of his community whose presence brought connection and warmth to those around him. His passing has left a profound void in the lives of his loved ones.
A reposing will take place at Lennon’s Funeral Home on Monday, April 13, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Removal will follow on Tuesday to the Church of the Most Holy Trinity for Funeral Mass at 12 noon.
A private cremation and interment will take place at a later date.
Family flowers only are requested, and condolences may be shared with the family as they navigate this difficult time.
David Loftus will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
