Chayse Renyak, 13, of Gloversville, passed away on April 9, 2026, leaving behind a life filled with love, warmth, and cherished memories. Though his time was far too short, he made a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Born on July 17, 2012, in Gloversville, New York, Chayse was the beloved son of the late Joseph Renyak and his mother, Judith “Judy” Renyak, who survives him. He was a bright and gentle soul whose presence brought joy and comfort to family and friends alike.
Chayse was known for his friendly, funny, and adventurous personality. While he could be a bit shy at times, those closest to him knew his sweet and caring nature well. He had a kind heart and a natural way of making others feel included and valued. His love for his friends was evident in how he always put others before himself. He found happiness in simple pleasures, especially spending time outdoors. Chayse loved fishing, exploring nature, and enjoying peaceful moments outside. He also enjoyed cooking on the grill, showing curiosity and enthusiasm in everything he did.
His playful sense of humor brought laughter into his home, as he often enjoyed harmless pranks that reflected his fun-loving spirit. These moments will be treasured by those who knew him best. Chayse is survived by his mother, Judy; his brother, Cody; his grandparents; aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him deeply. Calling hours will be held April 14, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at A.G. Cole Funeral Home in Johnstown, with a service to follow.
